Transformational 121 Hockey Sessions – The Difference Every Player Deserves

At Performance Hockey Coaching, we know that every young hockey player’s journey is unique — and sometimes the best way to unlock real progress is with focused, personalised attention. That’s exactly what our 121 sessions deliver: individualised coaching with a purpose, designed to accelerate your child’s development, build confidence, and elevate their game in ways that group training simply can’t match.

Why 121 Sessions Work
In a one-to-one environment your child gets undivided attention from an expert coach who sees exactly where they are now, and precisely what they need next. Instead of generic drills, every minute is tailored to your child’s skills, learning style and aspirations — whether they’re learning fundamentals or pushing toward higher performance.
This means more touches on the ball, clearer technique correction, personalised challenge and faster improvement than in crowded group sessions.

Skill Development With Purpose
Your child will build technical excellence — from ball mastery, passing and receiving, to defending and goal scoring — in an atmosphere that stretches them without overwhelming them. Coaches guide them step-by-step through progressions that make sense and feel rewarding, giving them real tools they can take back into training and games.

Confidence That Shows Up
What’s often most transformative isn’t just skills — it’s the confidence boost that comes from understanding why they’re improving and seeing measurable progress on the pitch. With personalised feedback, encouragement and challenges that are just right, players start believing in themselves. That confidence shows up in how they train, how they compete, and how they take on new hockey goals.

A Clear Path to Progress
These sessions aren’t about busywork — they’re about progress. Each session is purposeful and builds on the last, helping your child see where they’ve improved and what’s next. That clarity fuels motivation, builds resilience, and lays a foundation for long-term development in hockey and beyond.

We have helped dozens of players over the years with our unique, innovative and creative 121 coaching, many have gone onto represent higher teams, gain scholarships, develop new advanced skills, grow in confidence or indeed play for their country.

Sessions are £80/90 payable on the day.
